Skyrim, also known as the Old Kingdom or the Fatherland, is the home of the Nords and the setting for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Looking back at the song we decoded, there is a strong hint here that 2 brothers will wage war, causing Alduin, the dragon who can destroy the world, to be spawned. There is also a civil war going on after the death of the High King of Skyrim, Torygg, whom the Jarl of Windhelm, Ulfric Stormcloak, killed with the power of the Thu'um. You play as the Dovahkiin or Dragonborn (a person with the body of a mortal and the soul of a dragon) and you are mentored by the Greybeards, Esbern and Delphine (the latter two are Blades members). The story is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion. It is a snowy area and it is the place where the Nords believe they came from. The lore is set in the Skyrim province, which is located north of Cyrodiil.

It is bordered by Morrowind to the east, Cyrodiil to the south, Hammerfell to the south-west, and High Rock to the west the island of Solstheim lies to the north-east. The Aldmer and Falmer occupied Skyrim until the late Merethic Era, when the final wave of Nordic immigration, led by Ysgramor, occured. It is currently inhabited by the human race of Nords. Skyrim has been home to both elven and human civilization since time immemorial. Skyrim is a province in the very north of Tamriel.
