The result is that you make your saved game highly unstable and likely to crash at any time as the game attempts to evaluate one of those pointers. The saved file holds reference pointers to items (usually scripts) in the ESM/ESP file and if you uninstall the mod then you end up with pointers pointing at nothing. The design of the saved game file means it is unwise to uninstall a mod which has an ESP or ESM file in it. Amarx93 wrote: Is there a way to safely uninstall this?
